It seems odd to me that there are castles in Japan. I always think of castles as a European structure. It is quite interesting. I hope to see more of it when you return.

Was curious about the history of this castle, and learned it was built in the 16th century, burned down a few times in the next few centuries and has been reconstructed. Fascinating, thanks Jason for sharing.
